Salisbury, such a wonderful place to visit is probably most famous for its Cathedral, also known as Cathedral Church of the Blessed Virgin Mary. This is the site of Britain’s tallest spire, as well as the world’s oldest working clock. An entire day could be easily spent exploring it.

Unlike many cathedral cities it’s also mostly flat and easy to explore on foot and as The Merchant’s House Hotel is located in the heart of town centre this is the perfect place to stay.
